Elise + Hayden's Temecula Wedding

Elise + Hayden's sweet + intimate wedding was filled with so much love from their family + friends! Planning with these two was so easy and fun + they were just a blast to work with! There was also a special little connection as my mom was actually Hayden's Kindergarten teacher (I always love when two worlds collide so much later in life).

I always know when a couple wants to have a food truck at their wedding that it's gonna be a good day! Add in some specialty cocktails, a modern barn atmosphere and lovely white + green florals and you've got yourself an awesome wedding!

Elise + Hayden are such a perfect match for each other and they exude love for one another. I think Hayden's reaction to his bride walking down the aisle may have been one of the best I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot!).

We wish the two of them so much happiness together!

Courtney

Sara + Tony's Galway Downs Wedding

When Sara first reached out to me to help with the design of her wedding, I gushed hard. She’s a coordinator herself, so you imagine how honored I felt that she wanted to bring me on to help marry both her + her future hubby-to-be’s styles together. And the fact that her style was on trend + super rad, was just an added bonus. I literally hit the jackpot with these two.

You can imagine my surprise when I found out that Tony was more drawn to a traditional look, with draping and blush flowers + Sara was drawn to industrial modern, mixed metals + moody tones. Quite the stark contrast. I really tried to bring these two styles together with hints of softness in the draping at the ceremony site and touches of lighter florals to contrast the moody tones happening in other parts of the design.

The end result… perfection.

I grew to love these two so much. Sara is insanely talented herself + has THE best taste ever. A recipe for a good coordinator.

S + T, I wish nothing but the very best for you two! Thanks for letting me play a small part in your insanely dreamy wedding!

Hannah + Adam's Vista Valley Country Club Wedding!

san diego wedding planner

I think I’m pretty much a sucker for forehead kisses and darn cute couples. Especially couples who become more than clients. Friends. Those couples you just want to be around all the time because their love for one another is simply, contagious. Hannah and I got to work closely together throughout the planning process and lucky for me, she chose one of my favorite venues, Vista Valley Country Club. This isn’t your typical country club wedding venue friends. Their wedding courtyard is pure magic + the reception space is straight out of European heaven. My heaven.

I learned a few things on this wedding day too. 1. Adam’s dance moves kept up with Hannah (once a Charger girl) despite her being in an insanely gorgeous fitted lace dress. 2. Breesa is a floral goddess. What she did with the ceremony arch was INSANE. 3. Donuts are a must. I’m pretty sure they lasted about two seconds once I put them out on the table. 4. Hannah + Adam looked at each other with such a deep love, it moved me.

Let’s go back and drink all the wine + relive every second of this day. Okay. Done.

Guest Post- Wedding Details Worth the Splurge!

Hey loves! I am so excited to be sharing this guest blog post by Rose Cabacang, contributor for The Huffington Post and Community Manager for Wedding Favy. She's here to share the things that make a wedding fun + unique... you know, those things you should swipe the credit card for and not look back on. Enjoy!

Getting on the wedding planning train? Let me tell you something, getting on this ride requires heavy research and effective budgeting skills.

Like most brides, the first thing needed for a perfect plan is having a budget. Stick to it and you’re good to go. Wait, it’s not done yet, you still have to choose the details and where your budget goes. To help you out, we’ve got the perfect list for you. Read on and find out where your budget should go.

1. Food

The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, not just to your man but to your guests as well. Always make food the top of your list. Have Hors d'oeuvres or bite-sized treats as soon as the guests arrive at your reception. Your entourage will definitely appreciate this after a long day of shoots and wedding preparations. Another great idea: Have an open bar as soon as the guests have eaten to make way for the after-party!

2. Decorations

Don’t settle for anything less than what you expect. Wedding decorations keep the big day unforgettable and it just shows a part of you two as a couple. Pick items or details that will make your event sparkle. Be particular with the flowers, reception structures, and table centerpieces that would forever stick in the minds of your friends and family.

Huffington Post

3. Favors

What better way to remember your wedding day than to have your wedding engraved in a favor. Personalized favors reflect you as a couple or at least an important part of your love story. You could go for a photo booth or have some bonding time with your partner for some Do-It-Yourself wedding favors. If you lack the imagination, surf the internet for possible ideas.

4. Videographer & Photographer

If you want your wedding day to last a lifetime, the best way is to have an excellent photographer and videographer to capture the right moments and your sweetest at that. Get a package and have a (pre-wedding) prenup video, same-day-edit video, aerial shots using drones and wedding slideshows to make the moments last forever. Check out different photographers and check the prices, it’s best to have a team of photographers and have different views of the big day.

5. Music and Entertainment

You won’t want a dead air on your wedding reception, so pick the right band or DJ and you’ll get the mood that you want for your reception. Quick tip: Ask a referral from your friends or at least find the time to actually hear them sing.

Brittney + Jason's Temecula Creek Inn Wedding

temecula creek inn

Give me a rad color palette, a beautiful couple + a bride with insanely good taste and you have me jumping up and down! Brittney + Jason tied the knot at Temecula Creek Inn and it was the most gorgeous day ever. Brittney came to me with ideas for colorful florals, with greenery touches for napkin details and Carla Kayes Floral Design delivered all that and more. We kept the overall feel classic, yet infused deep maroons and peaches for a uniqueness. It was stunning and seeing the smile on Brittney’s face was what made me the happiest.

Brittney + Jason, I wish you both the best life ever. You two are perfection. xo

Ron + Steph's Temecula Winery Wedding!

temecula wedding planner

You know when you meet those people that just instantly become familiar, almost like family, but more like friends you’ve known for a long time… for me, that was Ron + Steph the second I met them. They had this contagious love amongst them, that I just wanted to be around. I got to know the both of them a lot during the planning process and I was so excited to see their vision all come together on their wedding day. We brought in the Bloom Babes who did the most insane florals I have ever seen. The Barrel Room at Callaway Winery was completely transformed and it was a wedding I will truly, never forget. A big thank you to my friend Jenna, of Jenna Joseph Photography, for capturing this sweet day. May we all look at our significant other the way Ron + Steph look at each other. That’s real love, folks.

Katie + Keith's Wedding at Journey's at Pechanga!

san diego wedding planner

I can remember Katie as a little girl, dancing alongside her at Temecula Dance Company competitions and spending time with her sweet family. So when she came to me to help plan the wedding of her dreams to her super cute then fiance (now hubby) Keith, I couldn’t help but blurt out, “yes!” She told me all about her long sleeved lace gown, lush pink + maroon florals, a flower crown to dance the night away in and all her closest family + friends in one room… my heart skipped a beat! I knew it was going to be THE perfect night. And anything that ends in a confetti send off is a winner in my books.

Congrats K + K, you both are so special to me! xo

Krista + Eric Celebrate 1 Year!

Ponte Temecula Wedding Planner When you come across such inspirational couples, they tend to leave a big imprint on your heart. This was definitely the case with Krista and Erik Bosshart, who are celebrating their 1-year anniversary on March 1st! I met them at Ponte Family Estate, where they shared their love story and let me into their world. With a date picked, the planning began! A few short months later, I learned that Erik would begin treatments for cancer and the wedding would need to be postponed. My heart was heavy, but I was confident that Erik would get through this and the wedding would go on! I was pleased to hear they would reschedule for March 1, 2014. Praying for a perfect day, God simply sprinkled His joyous tears on the couple that day with a little bit of rain. I always say that rainy, gloomy days, bring the best pictures, and this was definitely the case on this special day. I hope you enjoy these pictures and the inspiring story of a love that prevailed through trying circumstances.

Ponte Temecula Wedding Planner

Happy 1st Anniversary Krista and Erik! I will always hold a special spot in my heart for the two of you!

Carli + David's Engagement Session- La Jolla, CA

“We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

San Diego Wedding Planner

When Carli and David came to me saying they wanted to take unique pictures not just at the beach, but in a cute little town setting, I knew La Jolla Shores would be the perfect spot! With its quaint and colorful buildings and close proximity to the salty ocean waves, I knew without a doubt this would be a hit. With David being from Colorado and Carli from Temecula Wine Country, they strived to get something different, and that was certainly accomplished with the talented Elyse Barton of Plum & Oak Photo behind the camera!

San Diego Wedding PlannerSan Diego Wedding Planner

I could not be more excited to be a part of my sister’s wedding day this upcoming July at Wiens Winery! Enjoy these sweet, genuine and authentic engagement photos- I can’t stop smiling seeing the love portrayed!

They trusted me with a paint brush and some wood to create signs that enveloped their love for Christ and love for each other. 1 John 4:19 was an easy choice as it simply states the foundation of love.

They did not want to miss out on showcasing their playful side and love for vans shoes. Not to mention that Carli has to stand on her tip-toes to reach David! Such a fun portrait of their personalities!

In just 6 months Carli is going to be a married woman. I am excited to see what God has in store for her and David and their fun-filled future ahead of them!
