Erika + I share the same middle name (great taste parents!) but she was also my very first friend when I moved to Temecula in third grade. So you can only imagine my excitement when she asked me to help plan her dream wedding at Circle Oak Ranch, to her dreamy hubby, Brandon.

The day was perfect. And I know I say this a lot, but it was. The air was cooler than most the other days had been in July, a calmness filled the air and everything just came together so easily. The florals were some of my favorite this year- with a giant airplant in the bride’s bouquet. The bridesmaids were in soft blue/grey dresses, a color that complimented each girl so well.

The families were so darn sweet too. There’s something so truly special about getting to share this special day with friends I have known for so many years. I loved getting to watch Erika + Brandon’s love for each other. The way they washed each others feet at the ceremony alter, a ritual that I had only seen on wedding blogs. It was such a tender, sweet moment. The way they laughed + the way they looked at each other. I couldn’t be happier for my friend.

Erika + Brandon, your love is the real deal.
