Kellie + Dan's Omni La Costa Wedding!

San Diego Wedding Planner When a bride comes to you and says she wants to have In-N-Out burgers + fries and a neon sign hung to surprise her future hubby at the after party, you don’t ask questions. You just do.

Kellie met Dan on a trip to Chicago, only to find out they would soon be living in the same big city of NYC. Fate?… I think yes! It’s these chance encounters that get me all sorts of excited. You just never know where you’re going to meet your future partner for life and hearing these love stories gives me so much hope!

Kellie dreamed of the most beautiful all white wedding at the Omni La Costa Resort and boy, was it pretty! The day was surrounded by loved ones + friends and an amazing group of vendors who made it our mission to make this day run flawlessly. Kellie + Dan said I do overlooking the insane views at the Omni La Costa Resort and danced the night away under strings of market lights. It all ended with guests enjoying burgers, fries and drinks… and dancing the night away under that neon sign that read “The Shotens.” It was magic!

Hannah + Adam's Vista Valley Country Club Wedding!

san diego wedding planner

I think I’m pretty much a sucker for forehead kisses and darn cute couples. Especially couples who become more than clients. Friends. Those couples you just want to be around all the time because their love for one another is simply, contagious. Hannah and I got to work closely together throughout the planning process and lucky for me, she chose one of my favorite venues, Vista Valley Country Club. This isn’t your typical country club wedding venue friends. Their wedding courtyard is pure magic + the reception space is straight out of European heaven. My heaven.

I learned a few things on this wedding day too. 1. Adam’s dance moves kept up with Hannah (once a Charger girl) despite her being in an insanely gorgeous fitted lace dress. 2. Breesa is a floral goddess. What she did with the ceremony arch was INSANE. 3. Donuts are a must. I’m pretty sure they lasted about two seconds once I put them out on the table. 4. Hannah + Adam looked at each other with such a deep love, it moved me.

Let’s go back and drink all the wine + relive every second of this day. Okay. Done.

Cozy Winter Beach + Plaid Affair Featured on The Westchester Wedding Planner!

New England Connecticut Wedding Planner Connecticut will always hold such a special spot in my heart. There are days where I just can’t help be reminiscence back on the charm of New England cottages or the beautiful beaches that bring a different element then what I get back at home in Southern California. But really, it’s the light that I just can’t get out of my head. It’s dreamy. Just pure dreamy.

I partnered up with Brooke of Brooke Allison Photography to put together a shoot on the beach in Fairfield, Connecticut to incorporate that dreamy light that I just can’t get enough of. We created a cozy winter affair with hints of beach elements, showing our brides that you can have the best of both worlds in the winter- a beach wedding despite the chilly days. I hope you get lost in these images as much as I have!

Vintage Bohemian Wedding Inspiration- Greenwich, CT

Today I woke up giddy with excitement! My very first style shoot at a private country club in Greenwich, CT has been published on Well Wed Blog, and you can catch the link: National Wedding Inspiration: Off Beat Antique!Connecticut Wedding PlannerFlower crowns, vintage china, one stunning bride and groom, a farm-style table, a dessert display to die for and two of the cutest little girls you will ever see… let the beautiful images by TBM Photography take over!

Spending a large majority of my year on the East Coast, I knew I had to take advantage of all the pretty colors in the Fall. Being a Cali girl, I had never seen anything like it until I had moved to Connecticut last year. My senses were overloaded as everywhere I turned, the leaves shined a different shade of green, red, orange, yellow, and every color in between.

With the exciting launch of Kelsey Rae Designs, I knew I had to have my “coming out” party! What better way than to create a style shoot that had my style, my work, and my stamp on it? I quickly brought together Connecticut’s best wedding vendors and got to work!

I wanted to infuse both East coast and West coast styles. The boho look that is so popular on the West coast brought a new edge to the timeless style you see so much of on the East coast. We decided to take different color ribbons to lay the length of the farm-style table, creating a new twist on the traditional table runner. The flowers created by the talented Bethany of Autumn Rose Floral Designs (LINK) were to die for! The vintage china curated by Lauren of Borrowed, a Vintage Inspired Company (LINK) were absolutely perfect in every way! I could not be more proud of how it turned out and I hope you love every image as much as I do!

It has been months in the making, but it was definitely worth the wait!
