Indian Meets the Beach- Featured on Green Wedding Shoes!

San Diego Wedding Planner I distinctly remember the day I had lunch with my good friend + Catering Manager at the Hilton Mission Valley, Morgan Wessells, and my beloved partner in crime, Elyse of Plum & Oak Photo. We drank wine, and ate, brainstormed, and drank some more wine. That’s really when our creative minds got to work dreaming up one of the most unique set-ups I’ve done to date. It was over wine that we decided to take on a challenge- mix Indian boho vibes with a beachy feel. The masterpiece we dreamt up came to life with San Diego’s best vendors. My heart still swoons.

We brought the All-American guy together with the most stunning Indian bride covered in henna. I had my sites set on working with Pow Wow and boy was I a giddy soul the day I got to roam their warehouse. It was heaven. The florals were OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. The Dainty Lion really outdid herself on this one folks! The biggest challenge of the day came in setting up the chairs at the ceremony site in a half circle. Don’t give the girl with OCD and perfectionist-syndrome that job. Lesson learned. My favorite part though was the table scape. I remember every weird look I got when I explained my vision and squealed in excited for the elephant plates. I wouldn’t have done it any other way. The hints of fun in a classic white setting was pure dreaminess.

Cozy Winter Beach + Plaid Affair Featured on The Westchester Wedding Planner!

New England Connecticut Wedding Planner Connecticut will always hold such a special spot in my heart. There are days where I just can’t help be reminiscence back on the charm of New England cottages or the beautiful beaches that bring a different element then what I get back at home in Southern California. But really, it’s the light that I just can’t get out of my head. It’s dreamy. Just pure dreamy.

I partnered up with Brooke of Brooke Allison Photography to put together a shoot on the beach in Fairfield, Connecticut to incorporate that dreamy light that I just can’t get enough of. We created a cozy winter affair with hints of beach elements, showing our brides that you can have the best of both worlds in the winter- a beach wedding despite the chilly days. I hope you get lost in these images as much as I have!

Carli + David's Engagement Session- La Jolla, CA

“We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

San Diego Wedding Planner

When Carli and David came to me saying they wanted to take unique pictures not just at the beach, but in a cute little town setting, I knew La Jolla Shores would be the perfect spot! With its quaint and colorful buildings and close proximity to the salty ocean waves, I knew without a doubt this would be a hit. With David being from Colorado and Carli from Temecula Wine Country, they strived to get something different, and that was certainly accomplished with the talented Elyse Barton of Plum & Oak Photo behind the camera!

I could not be more excited to be a part of my sister’s wedding day this upcoming July at Wiens Winery! Enjoy these sweet, genuine and authentic engagement photos- I can’t stop smiling seeing the love portrayed!

They trusted me with a paint brush and some wood to create signs that enveloped their love for Christ and love for each other. 1 John 4:19 was an easy choice as it simply states the foundation of love.

They did not want to miss out on showcasing their playful side and love for vans shoes. Not to mention that Carli has to stand on her tip-toes to reach David! Such a fun portrait of their personalities!

In just 6 months Carli is going to be a married woman. I am excited to see what God has in store for her and David and their fun-filled future ahead of them!
