Emily + Ben’s wedding was countryside beauty like I have never seen before. They said their vows overlooking the expansive rolling hills in Purceville, Virginia and had their reception in one of the most beautiful barns I have ever laid my eyes on. Planning from CA was a fun challenge and I was so honored that they brought me out for this day! We designed around Emily’s love of coral + blue + wild flowers + lace. We brought in special touches from her days of riding horses and showcased some of Ben’s favorite childhood memories too. We packed the barn with their closest family + friends and danced the night away!

Being back on the east coast was a real treat for me. As I landed, I was picked up by Emily’s sweet parents and given the quick tour of the DC area, with all the beautiful monuments and buildings in the background. I took in all that lush greenery I don’t get to see as much of out here in Southern California, and was welcomed with open arms as both Emily + Ben’s families prepped for a weekend of festivities.
