Clayton + Chad's Wedding at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, California!

Clayton + Chad’s wedding day was celebrated at the beautiful Inn at Rancho Santa Fe in California. Their wedding was a stunning display of elegance and romance, infused with a a modern touch and a color palette of cool tone colors. To say I was obsessed with incorporating blue and green and black into the wedding day, is an understatement. It was one of my favorite weddings to date and I will forever have spot in my hear for planning with Clayton. She’s a gem!

As the guests arrived, they were greeted by a vision of beauty and an aisle filled with florals. Carla Kayes worked her magic on the most beautiful arch under the big iconic tree on property. Cafe chairs were arranged in perfect rows, leading the way to an awe-inspiring floral arch. As Clayton and Chad exchanged their vows, they walked down an aisle strewn with a meadow of flowers, creating a whimsical and romantic atmosphere. Clayton’s even had “To the Moon and Back” embroidered on her veil- the most perfect touch!

After the heartwarming ceremony, the guests made their way to cocktail hour, where we had some cool lounges set up and cocktail tables sprinkled across the lawn. Here, they were met with a sophisticated ambience that perfectly complemented Clayton and Chad's refined taste. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as guests mingled, sipped signature cocktails, and enjoyed delectable appetizers. We also had a custom wall made with a blue-green paint color that perfectly matched the rest of the stationery we brought in. We displayed decks of cards since Clayton + Chad love to play cards. The decks brought in butterflies (another element we carried out throughout the design and on the invites) and the wall read “Table Stakes.” The most fun!

As the sun began to set, the wedding transitioned into a grand reception filled with elegance and charm. We did a full light curtain over the space and it was MAGICAL. We had a band set up on stage and a black dance floor glistened in the center of the space. The head table, draped in luxury, showcased one of three different tabletop designs I curated. The chairs were cane back and absolutely beautiful. The guest tables had two different tabletop designs, all within the same color palate, with mixes of blues and greens and smoke glassware. It’s one of those weddings you’ll look back on and think, that was elegant, timeless and alllll the things. All things perfect.

Throughout the entire wedding, the floral arrangements were the epitome of beauty. The chosen neutral palette of whites and ivories, with hints of blush, created an ethereal and romantic ambiance and a contrast to the darker tones of everything else we brought in through the rentals. Lush, wild, and organic arrangements adorned every corner. The cake was surrounded by a ton of florals and literally looked like it was in a garden of its own.

As the night went on, Clayton did a cute little outfit change and put on her stylish Prada combat boots. They danced the night away under the twinkle lights and the stars. Their guests sent them off in their new Bronco, also on brand with its color, and a cute “just married” sign hung from the back of it.

Clayton + Chad, y’all were THE most fun. I’ll forever be obsessed with all your details. Love you both!
