Amanda + Phil Married at The Martin Johnson House

San Diego Wedding Planner Amanda + Phil’s wedding was one that I looked forward to for a very long time! They were dream clients. You know, those ones that you just can’t get enough of. They got married at The Martin Johnson House on a perfect sunny February afternoon. The views were incredible and the setting was so intimate.

I remember when Amanda came to me early in the planning process wanting to incorporate succulents. She was so open to my quirkiness and suggestions to add artichokes to her arrangements, and I knew right then that we were going to get along just great.

One of my favorite parts about my job, is that I get to spend so much time meeting and talking with my couples. I really do get to know them and in most cases we become such good friends. This goes for Amanda + Phil. Their love for each other was contagious. Their patience toward each other was commendable. Their enthusiasm toward the untraditional was refreshing. Their ability to light up a room was easy.

Watching Phil walk Amanda down the aisle was beautiful. Their desire to do something different and special to them was something I will never forget. I am all about embracing different and being a bit quirky myself. So I was so excited when they decided to walk down the aisle together. It was a sweet moment they will cherish together forever. After all, weddings are about celebrating being “together” right? I love this.

Amanda + Phil, you left an impression on me. Your love for one another is unlike anything I’ve ever seen and I am so happy you both found each other. Congrats on being married!
