Ally and Max Tie the Knot at Forbes Farm on St. Simon’s Island, GA
What a journey we went on to find the perfect venue for Ally and Max! When their original venue shut down, we had to quickly pivot and when we landed on Forbes Farm my heart was bursting. Nestled in the heart of St. Simons Island, Georgia, this charming venue provided a serene and romantic atmosphere. With sprawling green landscapes and a modern charm, Forbes Farm set the perfect tone for their big day. And maybe since I’m not from the south, I’m even more smitten with Spanish moss. But boy, was it just so darn pretty.
Our color palette for the wedding was filled with of a ton of neutrals and hints of blues and greens. It’s one of those palette’s full of sophistication and one you won’t look back on and regret in years to come. From the ceremony to the reception, these colors seamlessly weaved throughout every element of their wedding.
The floral arrangements were a true highlight, featuring an abundance of white and ivory blooms interspersed with lush greenery. The delicate flowers exuded elegance, enhancing the natural beauty of Forbes Farm. We hung greenery on all the chandeliers which added a soft touch to the space. Florals filled the ceremony space and danced up the fireplace in the reception room. It was stunning!
During the cocktail hour, guests were treated to a charming and stylish setup. I always love a good seating chart moment. We had large acrylic panels with the guests names and table numbers on it, that hung from large hedge walls. A cute neon sign hung above and became a fun photobooth backdrop later in the evening. Expert mixologists crafted delightful beverages for guests to enjoy as well. Grey distressed cocktail tables and bohemian beaded blue glassware added a touch of charm, while the surrounding greenery and hedge walls added a natural and inviting feel to the atmosphere.
As the sun began to set, the celebration moved to the reception area, where the couple's vision of an enchanting evening came to life. The tables were adorned with timeless dishwater and gold flatware. A blue velvet napkin was the pop of color we needed! A beautiful menu sat on top and it was a place setting of perfection. They even got to incorporate their sweet dog, Sprinkles, in the wedding and had a nod to the cute pup with their wedding cake. The cake itself was adorned in sprinkles and the cutest sign with Sprinkles face sat next to it.
Ally and Max's wedding at Forbes Farm was an absolute dream come true. Take me back to the eastern coast please! Let’s live it all over again!
