Morgan + Matt's Mini Elopement in the Hills of De Luz

It doesn’t get more special than one of our very own getting married! Our girl, Morgan, was planning her wedding for 7/11/20, in the thick of the covid chaos. Being a planner herself, she had to set her emotions aside, put her planner hat on, and make the same tough decisions a lot of our brides for 2020 were experiencing- she had to ultimately pivot to a mini elopement (with an amazing party happening later!). And boy, was it special.

Mo’s the one we all go to for hashtag advice, help picking out the perfect shoes, and if we’re ever stumped on any “details" that need to be hashed out for our weddings we are planning. She’s got the biggest heart and pours into her own brides, so we knew we needed to make this day extremely special for her.

She got ready in the most beautiful air bnb in the hills of De Luz, surrounded by our friend Raymie who did her hair + make up! I got there early, with 711 slurpee’s in hand (a nod to a special part of their love story!). Elyse of Plum & Oak Photo and I helped style all the fun details that Morgan thoughtfully collected over the months. We made sure her invite suite from Something Lettered was showcased perfectly! We got all the little details together, so Morgan could just relax and enjoy the day!

As she walked down the aisle to her groom, Matt, there was so much emotion! It was so special to see them conquering all that 2020 threw at them and still being able to have the most beautiful and perfect day! Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they said their vows, ate some amazing BBQ, cut the delicious cake from Cakes to Celebrate and toasted to an amazing marriage ahead!

We love you both so much and can’t wait to see how the adventure unfolds!
