Laura + Vinnie's Wedding at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe

Laura + Vinnie, true gem of humans! They are the life of that party and just way too much fun! I had the honor of helping plan their wedding at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe and I had the best time ever!

We spent weeks pulling together plans and ideas for the big day. Then with a few days left to spare, the most dreaded thing ever happened. There was rain in the forecast.

After all of us saying a few prayers and Laura and Vinnie deciding to take the chance and hope for the best (with no tent!) we moved forward! The day was gorgeous, with big billowing clouds in the sky. They got married under the pretty tree at The Inn and took portraits with the most amazing cotton candy sunset in the background.

But then, it started to sprinkle. Their guests embraced it and were patient as we decided to move everything inside and then back out again. We had gotten beautiful cabanas at the last minute to help spruce things up if we did have to move it all inside. We hung pretty boho lanterns and had florals growing up the sides of the cabanas. So many pretty things! After a little back and forth though, we ultimately decided to keep everything outside and the guests were all for it! If that meant dancing the night away in the rain, they were game.

Laura and Vinnie got their dream wedding, with little details that made it truly special. My favorite part? The giant disco balls hanging over the bar with a fun neon sign. That pretty much sums up L + V!
