Oh my gosh… how has it already been a year since our wedding day!? Time has definitely flown by and I have so many amazing memories to cherish + look back on. It was truly, the best day of my life.

Planning my own wedding was a feat! I wanted alllll the things, but experienced first hand what my brides do when they have to prioritize + budget. Thankfully, I was blessed by the generosity of the most amazing vendor team + friends and I am so so grateful that I was able to have all the details I wanted + the most beautiful, perfect wedding day.

I created my mood board pretty quickly. I knew I didn’t want “wedding colors” and I just wanted things that looked good together, with moody tones throughout. I gave Carla Kayes my mood board and told her to surprise me with the flowers. I knew however she interpreted it, would be amazing, and she did not let me down one bit. The flowers were INSANE. One part I underestimated enjoying as much as I did, was stationery! Taryn with Twinkle & Toast made my life so easy and she came up with the most killer invite design as well as the prettiest day of goods- like our custom painting of our pup, Luna, for our signature cocktail and our nod to my favorite Taylor Swift with our seating chart header that read “Are You Ready for It?”

Now that I’ve been a bride, I get it. Weddings bring out all sorts of emotion and although I do this for a living, I never could have imagined how emotional every decision would be for me. Planning a wedding is tough stuff. But I’m so thankful for the amazing vendor team that came together to make my day so special + to my amazing family that kept me sane throughout the process and made sure I felt like a bride for the day. It was so special!

And a HUGE thanks to Brianna Glenn of Milk & Honey Travels that planned our *surprise* honeymoon! She shocked us both when we found out at our reception we were leaving the next day for Bali! Best surprise EVER!
