meraki [may-rah-kee] (adjective) Modern Greeks often use this to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love — when you put “something of yourself” into what you're doing, whatever it may be.

Ilyssa + Kyle Meraki, two of the sweetest souls ever. I met with these two initially over Skype (thank God for amazing technology these days!) as they were living up North and I’m based in Southern CA. I knew in that first conversation I was going to just adore them!

They shared their sweet love story + filled me in on their vision for the big day, to include: Succulents, Literature, Greenery, Contemporary Art, Blush Lace, Sage, Romantic Details, Welsh Corgis, and Star Wars. I was intrigued.

And boy it did not disappoint one bit. Complete with Sand Troopers guarding their first look + the entrance as guest’s walked in, all the way down to the collected books on each table, no detail was missed by these two. They brought their closest friends + family together and danced the night away!
