Amber + Jordan's Wedding at Luce Loft!
My favorite couple of 2020 (and the only couple to brave a 2020 wedding ha)! The first time I met Amber, we instantly connected, sharing similar styles (these two had unreal style), a love of ocean views, organization and design, good food and music and most importantly dogs! Little did we know we'd also share the covid bride experience in just a few short months when the world seemed to shut down. My favorite part and tidbit of our meeting was when she noted how her married name was Jordan's dream. The reason - well Jordan loved and brewed beer, and Amber was not only going to be married to him, but she would officially become Mrs. Amber Stout - the perfect beer name. It is pretty perfect, and yes he did make a beer after her.
Looking back, the Stout wedding may have been one of the hardest, most joyous, and rewarding celebrations. Nothing about the planning went as planned when you consider how many venue and vendor changes we went through, they had to seriously cut down the guest list, had a handful of last minute cancellations, and there seemed to be an endless supply of disposable masks and hand sanitizer... and all within a matter of weeks that turned into days before the wedding. It wasn't easy to handle, but these two made it look seemingly easy. Nothing phased them, and nothing was going to stop them from getting married (not today covid as we'd say). It really came down to how it ultimately was about two people in love, their union, and their married life together. As any wedding should be! So we did just that with less than 27 family members and friends, and I cried like a baby when Amber and Jordan locked eyes with one another for the first time down the aisle. The chemistry, the smiles, the giggles, the tears, their vows... It was PERFECT.
The pandemic may have landed us with some solid punches, but this stellar vendor team really made it happen! Thank you Luce Loft for keeping your doors open when no one else would and of course a special thank you to every vendor who willingly (and safely) participated. I am so glad that Amber and Jordan stayed the course and were super patient in allowing us to make their dreams a reality. Amber said it best, "getting married in the midst of the chaos of 2020 will always be a beautiful little reminder that this life is entirely what we make it, no matter the circumstances."
Congratulations on your new and growing family Amber + Jordan!! Onto the next adventure! Can't wait to see you welcome Baby Stout to the party crew.
xo, Morgan
