Alison + Michael at Monarch Beach

I got to work closely with Alison to bring her wedding dreams to life and it was so darn special getting to know her. This is a girl that persevered through so much and yet, always had the most amazing attitude throughout it all. She’s special, folks.

She got married at the beautiful Monarch Beach Resort, overlooking the stunning ocean and having the insane hotel in the background. It was a backdrop that will stick in my mind, always.

Carla Kayes knocked it out of the park with her florals. She did the most beautiful pampas + florals circle arch for ceremony. We adorned the reception space with cabanas and hanging lanterns and florals. The tables had the most gorgeous centerpieces going down it. And although it was the most windy wedding I think I’ve ever been apart of, we all rolled with it and still made it the best day ever! Sometimes all the details you pour hours over, don’t always work out due to weather, and that’s just something you have to embrace. Thankfully, Alison + Michael stayed in high spirits and enjoyed what really matters- being around the ones you love.

It was beautiful. They are beautiful. Everything about their day was beautiful.
