Alexa + Anuj

I had the great honor of working with Alexa and Anuj to plan their hybrid Indian and Western wedding and it was such a treat! They decided to do two ceremonies to honor both families and their traditions and it was one of my biggest challenges yet to make it all cohesive, but have slightly different vibes to differentiate them.

We brought on Native Poppy for the florals, which was the ultimate win in my books. Natalie always kills it and this was no exception. We started the day off with vibrant pinks, oranges and peach colors on the mundap, then moved to more pastel versions of the seafoam, pink and peach colors for the western ceremony at the beach. Then we moved into the reception where we married both of bright and the softer color palettes. It was so insanely pretty and nothing can ever beat the views at L’Auberge Del Mar.

Alexa looked stunning in her Indian ceremony garments, adorned with henna and the most beautiful hair piece and jewelry. Anuj participated in the traditional Indian Baraat, where he rode in a classic car, surrounded by all his friends and family that danced in the street and got the energy going! It was vibrant and so much fun!

Alexa + Anuj, it was so special seeing your families come together to celebrate you both and your amazing cultures you come from. I love you both and can’t wait to see where life takes you! xo
