Elise + Hayden's Temecula Wedding

Elise + Hayden's sweet + intimate wedding was filled with so much love from their family + friends! Planning with these two was so easy and fun + they were just a blast to work with! There was also a special little connection as my mom was actually Hayden's Kindergarten teacher (I always love when two worlds collide so much later in life).

I always know when a couple wants to have a food truck at their wedding that it's gonna be a good day! Add in some specialty cocktails, a modern barn atmosphere and lovely white + green florals and you've got yourself an awesome wedding!

Elise + Hayden are such a perfect match for each other and they exude love for one another. I think Hayden's reaction to his bride walking down the aisle may have been one of the best I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot!).

We wish the two of them so much happiness together!

Christina + Chris' Catameran Wedding

I knew I was going to absolutely LOVE Christina from the day I met her. We just clicked, in that way where I knew her infectious personality was something I always wanted to be around. Watching her love play out with Chris was truly magical. They are seriously the perfect match + I felt so honored to play a small part in the biggest day of their lives.

Every text, email + meeting brought Christina + I closer. Really getting to know my sweet couples and what they love, outside of just the “wedding planning” questions is what I strive to do! Merging Christina’s quirky tropical vibe, with a timeless look was a fun challenge. We elevated the look + made design decisions that I know she’ll look back on and still love 20 years from now.

Christina was a no fuss gal, which I appreciate. No need for a giant bridal party, this girl got ready in the salon at The Catamaran with her mama. She got in her dress in a gorgeous room overlooking the bay, with her brother’s and soon to be sister-in-law in tow. Each decided to just incorporate their siblings as their bridal party, and boy do I love this idea so dang much. It was a true family affair and I love that.

They said, “I do,” with their toes in the sand, overlooking the most beautiful bay, with family + friends there to support + of course enjoy the party! We brought in funky lounge set up’s from Witty Rentals + let The Dainty Lion have creative freedom to produce the most insane florals I’ve ever seen. It was magic.

Watching Christina + Chris smile + soak in every moment of being hubby + wifey, was the highlight of my day. I love these two and wish them all the love + happiness in the world!

Ashley + Ben's L'auberge Wedding

Mimosa’s, a gorgeous beach setting, brunch food (my fav!) + one beautiful couple… Ashley + Ben’s wedding at L’Auberge was a dream! Ashley reached out to me to help plan her seaside affair + I jumped on it in a heartbeat! Not only was L’Auberge on my dream list of places to work at, the fact that Ashley wanted to incorporate a boho style, with my favorite blue color palette, was almost too good to be true!

We got an early start to the day, as it was a brunch wedding! I didn’t know I could be that much of an early morning person, but as I showed up with my Starbucks in hand and saw the perfect beach gloom overhead, I knew it was going to be the perfect day.

Ashley got ready with her sweet little pup by her side. The first look was a dream + the vows they shared were just so special! They welcomed their guests to the rooftop deck at L’Auberge for the most amazing brunch celebration.

Seeing the love these two share is the reason why I do what I do! I wish so much love + happiness to Ashley + Ben!

Sara + Tony's Galway Downs Wedding

When Sara first reached out to me to help with the design of her wedding, I gushed hard. She’s a coordinator herself, so you imagine how honored I felt that she wanted to bring me on to help marry both her + her future hubby-to-be’s styles together. And the fact that her style was on trend + super rad, was just an added bonus. I literally hit the jackpot with these two.

You can imagine my surprise when I found out that Tony was more drawn to a traditional look, with draping and blush flowers + Sara was drawn to industrial modern, mixed metals + moody tones. Quite the stark contrast. I really tried to bring these two styles together with hints of softness in the draping at the ceremony site and touches of lighter florals to contrast the moody tones happening in other parts of the design.

The end result… perfection.

I grew to love these two so much. Sara is insanely talented herself + has THE best taste ever. A recipe for a good coordinator.

S + T, I wish nothing but the very best for you two! Thanks for letting me play a small part in your insanely dreamy wedding!

Temecula Creek Inn Tasting Event

It’s no lie that I have a love affair with Temecula Creek Inn. Their brides are always awesome + the gals that work there are THE best. When they asked me to come on board to do their August Tasting Event, I had no hesitation (other than it being smack in the middle of wedding season, mistake #1 haha). Despite being neck deep in wedding craziness, I knew I wanted to still put everything I could into the event, to make it as fun as possible!

I brought together some of my favorite vendors and we set up two sites of bridal inspiration at The Meadows + The Stone House. In the end, we asked their Catering Manager, Mikaela, to slip into a wedding dress and model her little heart out with her sweet boyfriend. The end result- perfection.

Jenna Joseph captured the day perfectly and produced some of my favorite wedding imagery ever. The color palette is one I’ve been seeing a lot from my brides lately, and I knew I wanted to do something fun + unique on the table. We used moody blues, greys, whites, and lots + lots of greenery to dress the table up! It was insanely pretty.

Partying Our Way Through Wine Country!

A few weeks ago a few friends of mine and I headed to Temecula Wine Country for some wine tasting, something I rarely ever say no to. Aall in Limo graciously provided us the transportation so we could experience what it’s like to be on our client’s end. Our driver was awesome and the limo bus was super nice inside (air conditioned and all, a must have in Temecula!).

We all hoped in and quickly popped open the champagne, #priorities. We cranked the music up and headed to our first winery, Wilson Creek. The wine slushies there were calling our names, they are seriously one of the greatest creations ever invented, especially for hot days.

Our next stop was Lorimar Winery, where we got some more wine + enjoyed food from their food truck on the patio. The fries were to…die…for.

We asked our driver if he could drop us off in Old Town at Crush & Brew to continue the afternoon downtown and he was super flexible with this request! We drank some craft cocktails and had the best day ever.

Thank you Aall in Limo for this treat! We rarely ever get a weekend day off in the middle of wedding season, and you allowed us to live it up and have the best time! We’re feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on August!

I am so excited to be sharing my guest blogger, Katelyn, owner of E.C. Style Bar. She's going to share all about why hiring a beauty concierge is the way to go! She's the best + I know you will all love her!

Leading up to your wedding, I am sure you have a checklist. Each time you are able to check off a part of the process, you do a little jig and feel an immense sense of satisfaction. I get it, there are very few things as satisfying as checking something off your list and you should be excited. Particularly I think while planning your wedding, because there seems to be a limitless amount of things you can plan for.

This is a scenario I hear a lot, as a lot of brides don’t think about hair and makeup as a top priority in the planning process or they forget. Planning hair and makeup for the wedding day can be a whole beast in itself, as you have to consider the number of ladies getting hair and makeup, and then sifting through vendors endlessly trying to find someone that might fit yourself and your groups’ needs. This is all a major pain and a major time suck, which is why you shouldn’t have to worry about.

This is why I started Elwynn & Cass, LLC (aka E.C. Stylebar), a beauty concierge service that matches the artist to your occasion based on the experience you are looking for. My job as a beauty concierge is to take this stress off of you in the planning process. You tell me the experience you are looking for (how you want to feel and look) on the day of your wedding and I will match the best artist to yourself and your bridal party. That’s it. You don’t have to search through beauty vendors, you don’t have to schedule the timing of the day of for services, and you don’t have to organize a trial with the artists.

I take all of that stress and needless guesswork off of you and allow you to focus on the things that need your attention. Plus, without having to stress about organizing the hair and makeup for yourself and your wedding party, you can actually ENJOY the services and getting glammed up. And you know what’s the best part? The artists are personally matched to your wants and needs. No worrying about wanting a natural look and getting a boudoir diva or not having the artist achieve the hairstyle you are going for.

I love to get to know you, the bride, and really get a sense of you. Not just your wedding date, or the number of people in your party, but your personality. Christy + Dan's Green Acre Campus Pointe Wedding

Blue suede shoes, a lace dress from The Dress Theory in San Diego + one of the coolest brides ever, and that just made up one half of the duo that got married at Green Acre this past April’s Fools Day. Her groom? A tall, handsome dude with a passion for airplanes and traveling to funky places, like Iceland (YES, we totally bonded over drinks + our mutual obsession for this icy destination). I knew I was going to love these two from the second I met them.

Christy came to me with some of the raddest ideas + one of my all time favorite venues booked. Her family owns Wiens Family Cellars in Temecula (the spot my little sister said, “I do”) so they wanted to incorporate Wiens wine + beer (duh!). Since the vineyard sits next to rows + rows of orange groves, she wanted to bring in oranges in some way too at Green Acre Campus Pointe. Natalie from the Native Poppy instantly got our vision and she brought together an insane floral color palette + tiny oranges that melted my heart. It was perfect.

And the best part of all…? The ladies threw on some leather jackets + danced the night away. If only I could be half as cool. Congrats C + D!

Amanda + Michael's Rooftop Wedding in San Diego!

Amanda + Michael make this world just a little bit cooler. It didn’t take too much to convince them to stray away from the conventional guest seating and do a laid back, lounge set up instead. Trend setting is my thing, so when they jumped at the opportunity to do something a little less traditional, I was excited AF.

It also never rains in socal, but mother nature decided to pay us a visit on this February weekend and pour on their rooftop wedding. No biggie though, The Andaz luckily had an expandable roof that came out and saved the day! The views were still gorg and the skies opened up for some great pics!

My favorite vendors came together to make this vision of open lounge seating a success! Witty Rentals provided all the rentals, and boy did they make that space look IN-SANE. The Bloom Babes killed it on the florals and Plum & Oak Photo captured all the sweet moments. The guests even got to chow down on some chicken + waffles (my personal fav!) so that basically sums up why this was one of the best nights ever. 

Congrats A + M, you’re the best!
